thoughts re: CW tagging & retooting

I'm not saying "just don't RT those things" isn't a valid or viable option, but I'm fully aware of it as an option and would like to know if anybody has any suggestions of other options instead.

thoughts re: CW tagging & retooting

I know I haven't been as diligent or careful with RTing political things that don't have CWs, and I do apologize for that. I'm not sure how to fix it; I'd love the ability to add a CW to a RT but I also understand if that's either technically untenable or too subject to abuse, and copy/pasting tweets with a CW seems deeply disrespectful to the original poster. if you have ideas for how to fix this other than the default "just don't RT those things" let me know?

Look, I know that more than one thing is allowed to be terrible at once, and that nothing is a distraction from anything else, but if the *only* political posts I've seen from you are about net neutrality ... well, I can't help but wonder.

Net Neutrality (it's not over yet!)

The battle for #NetNeutrality is not over. Call your representatives NOW to demand that they use the powers granted to them under the Congressional Review Act to negate the FCC's decision.

important, time sensitive info for US residents

if you live in the US remember to do the healthcare.gov thing by tomorrow and remember that most people don't pay anything.

if you're in a strange situation like bug where you don't have a job and aren't sure how much you'll make next year: give a lowwwww estimate and you'll most likely pay nothing to start with. then you can just report income when you get it.

uspol, net neutrality

this is a general reminder that the US government is not known for its supreme efficiency when it comes to implement new policies, and that there are a bazillion legal hoops to jump through before anything actually happens

find these hoops, and bap 'em in the right direction

Corporations should never have been allowed to own the physical vectors of Internet transmission in the first place.
