Spouse and I watched the last episode of Planet Earth II last night, "Cities," and there was a bit in it about this one city in India where there are LEOPARDS sneaking into the city at night and nomming piglets. frickin LEOPARDS. for some reason I find that fascinating and weirdly hopeful. XD

also the city in Ethiopia that has made a pact with hyenas. <3 urban wildlife

I am only mollified from the fact that the last remaining trickles of water from our taps has completely tapered out by the fact that I can *still* hear the crew working on the pipe down the hill. and see their lights, though it was much more impressive when they were cutting a pipe or something and there was a massive flare of sparks--*that* was cool-looking. fingers crossed for working water Real Soon! :|
