In the meantime, this year has sucked a LOT financially for me, and if you can help me out I'd really appreciate it. (And thank you if you already have <3) #transcrowdfund

I consider transgender cops a good thing

I consider minority police in general a very positive force, the more the better

There will always be assholes, and they should be weeded out

But minorities as police can effect positive change in the way our communities are policed

looking at a UW Red Square livestream and... it looks pretty empty, actually. uwtv.org/redsquare/ I'm sure it's pointing in the wrong direction... but surely there should be more people than this in the area?

I can think of several strong moral arguments for putting Celeste-style accessibility modes in your difficult game. The strongest is that doing so infuriates the "git gud" crowd.

oh here we go... roof repair time. :| random thumping and pounding overhead, yey. later will come the "strangers in my territory (accessing the crawlspace)" phase of the festivities.

Shitposting is how I do it too but I figure it's important to at least let you befriend a chain chomp

re:lrb: I agree with pretty much everything in that picture

also reminder that The Onion had a celeb gossip site for a little while and the week it got shut down the writers on the project just went all out mastodon.social/media/HCjef4z8

"J.B.S. Haldane was once asked what his study of biology had taught him about God.

He said that the Creator, if he exists, has 'an inordinate fondness for beetles.'"

"In 2002, conceptual artist Jonathon Keats sponsored a petition to get Berkeley, Calif., to acknowledge Aristotle’s identity law, commonly expressed as A=A.

His law would impose a misdemeanor fine of up to one-tenth of a cent on anyone or anything caught being unidentical to itself within city limits.

Unfortunately, Keats gathered only 65 signatures and found no backers on the city council. Berkeley, apparently, prefers ambiguity."

THAT'S MY NARBEAST. you can see the non-dark clothes that he didn't drag down to nest in. and he stayed in it all night, sleeping happily at the foot of my bed. <3

last night when I went to bed I walked into the bedroom without turning the light on and heard "MRAWR." I looked at the bed as I turned the light on, saying "oh hi Nar," but he wasn't on the bed--and then I realized the yell had come from my feet. and then I realized Nar had pulled clothes off my shelf to make a nest in (again). DARK CLOTHES. I turned off the light and all I could see was a pair of yellow eyes in a black puddle. XD awoo.space/media/fMwymjhDJO7z3 @cats@kitty.town

Hey friends in Seattle-

Avoid Red Square if you don't want to be involved in a political thing happening.

If you are there - please stay safe - this sounds like a very dangerous event to be at considering what happened last time.
