Gosh, I may be a simple, bright-eyed farm girl from downtown Toronto with nothing but a pocket full of toonies and a head full of dreams, but something tells me I can really make something of myself here!

Today I learned: Ursula K. LeGuin spent a chunk of her life making an album of world music for a paracosmic civilization from one of her books. (' Music And Poetry Of The Kesh', paired with the book 'Always Coming Home')

Also that she was working in her last days on seeing it being reissued, and now it's on Bandcamp? Just...to buy? And that's really beautiful in its own way.

Content warnings are something I'm still super thrilled that this place has. And that all of you are polite enough to keep me from seeing horrible imagery or serious issues without my mental fuel being empty.

Anxiety is such a harsh drain on my mental resources.
