@envgen i also really like the donkey kong series, which is basically mario but with monkeys instead

@envgen i love zelda games, especially the game boy releases, but some of them have spooky fights/dungeons. link's awakening is probably the least spooky one? it's no more spooky than the castle/haunted house areas in super mario world

@envgen yoshi's island is extremely whimsical and if you were into super mario world it could be okay

@envgen monkey island, professor layton, the witness (more puzzle/point and clicky type games that are cute with cute settings)

@envgen monument valley is very whimsical and pretty short, it's more of a puzzle platformer
