@eurasierboy Feature request: Ability to buy awoos via in-app purchase. ;)

@vahnj *nods* This gets to something that's never actually been clear to me, which is (leaving boosts aside for the moment) "Is federation transitive?

@vahnj You're answering from a "do we federate with these people" POV though. What I want to know is let's take as a given that alice IS federating with mallory. In that case, when do mallory users see our stuff?

*thinking* I SUPPOSE it's nice that cryptology persona names are often feminine.

...Too bad it seems like the feminine names are more often the bad actors.

@vahnj So, here's what I'm not quite clear on:

Dramatis Personae:
alice.space - An instance we like.
mallory.spcae - An instance we don't like.

Let's say we are federating with alice.space, and they are federating with everyone, including mallory.space.

1) Previously, without private toot federation, under what specific circumstances would users on mallory.space see our toots?

2) Now, with private toot federation, how has that changed?

@Linael @body@mastodon.social Oh wow I did not know Le Guin wrote a coyote story, and I can't find a way to buy an ebook of it.

To the library, I guess! ^.^

Spirituality

When I sit at my altar, if I do it right and my guides are with me, I go somewhere…

where crumbling cities have been reclaimed by people and nature

where the in-between and the abandoned can find community and support

where spiritworkers bond with gods who themselves wandered in from far-off places where they didn’t fit

where entropy is a constant companion, inspiring one and all to build better, cleverer, bolder

where urban spirits crowd the night, and we all dance together.

Being able to switch a conversation into and out of DMs is an excellent feature that I an unfortunately very prone to screwing up. ;P

@body@mastodon.social I'd love to hear anything you'd want to share, and personally am really into hearing about wildly disparate takes on various warp concepts, and figuring out clever ways to work them together with other ones. ^.^

@body@mastodon.social We've had a few bursts of activity in revamps and rewrites over the past few years.

And honestly my brain is about 33% in Downwarp all the time anyway.

@body@mastodon.social Also would totes be interested to hear about your worldbuilding thoughts on this, even if you're not up for RP.

@body@mastodon.social If you're interested in reading more, there's been some new canon* writing here: wiki.postfurry.net/wiki/Puzzle

*Nothing about PBX is actually canon, ever.

@body@mastodon.social ...Weirdly enough, a few years ago we started up an RP that would've ended up making this basically literally true.

...It was an otter, though.

@literorrery (Then we're letting the act stand without the thing that belies its cravenness. Things Are Complicated. It was, well, a Coyote idea. ;))

@literorrery Hmm. What if we just deface/remove the plaque? ;)

@eurasierboy @vahnj *blush* Well thanks! (By the way, I haven't done mobile design in a while, but if you need someone to bounce ideas off... ^.^)

@starkatt Though we keep throwing bits and pieces of Weird Fantasy in there too. ^.^

I did a terrible job explaining postfurry the other day. Let me try again:

More or less, Furry is an answer to the question "what if people were also animals?" Postfurry takes that farther and asks "If we as people-animals cast aside all limitations -- both external and internal -- on our embodiments, identities, and personal ontologies, what can we become? Let's use the ideas of cyberpunk and sci-fi as a starting point, and go find out."
