Oh lovely. The VP for my old team, which I left because they gave zero shits about design as a discipline (and have continued to do so to the point where the person who joined after me left too) just emailed me saying “Hey we need UX help, do you no anyone who's looking."

I say no, and think (but do not say) how much I would not recommend that team to any designers in the first place. I point him to the core design team, which is how that stuff is supposed to work.

Okay, everyone who was talking about the Werewolf stuff with me last night? Look what you all made me do:

Okay like for serious does anyone have any experience with troupe-style RPG campaigns because this feels like a real good setup for those and I kinda really wanna do it and could use someone to talk it out with.

PCs:

- Boisterous Fianna lead singer who always has to be talked out of shifting on stage "just to give the lyrics more punch"

- Child of Gaia drummer who always wants to find a way to work his weird instrument collection into more songs.

- Glass Walker tech guy who argues, out loud, with the pattern spiders in all his gear

- Black Fury bassist, incredibly lesbian, entirely done with everyone else's' nonsense

Proactive werewolf pack that's also a touring folk/punk band. Radically queer, shows full of pol/eco protest songs, staying out after shows to fight whatever monsters the local ecological devastation has spawned.

So, the specifics:

I would like to be able to go topless again or wear stuff like mesh shirts without a binder. Would that sort of chest-stuff feel weird in the latter case? Would I get looked at weird? (I wanna say I don't care but in the end I probably care at least a little bit). Would showing that much make me FEEL weird (obviously I can really only answer this one myself but others' experiences can still be helpful. (3/3)

From some pictures (admittedly from a different surgeon) it looked like the extra roundness amounted to mostly a bump in the areola area which is at least better than the "still breasts but smol" situation I was initially worried about. However, I'm not sure if I'm looking at things right and I'm also not sure about the functional implications of that sort of thing? (2/?)

Main areas of consideration:

I do rather like nipple sensation but it's not vital for me. I'd also be happy to not have to worry about drafts. However, for inverted-t, the doctor emphasized that there will be more tissue left over than with a double incision, calling it something like early breast development. I did not really have a standard early-breast-development, so it's hard to really work that out. (1/?)

I just had a consult with a top surgery doctor today! I am really excited but also somewhat anxious about the options. I'm in the fun grey area where I can go with double-incision or inverted-t procedures.

Because of my unique gender situation, I don't know many folks who've had top surgery procedures, or where to find them. I'd love to talk to folks who've had both of the above, especially inverted-T, to help me decide.

Also yet another time when my Necker Cube necklace started up a conversation about pagan iconography even though the design had nothing to do with that originally. Huh.

Spark, I just found out in the course of a single short conversation that yet another person on the UX team is pagan and queer and poly. Why am I not on that team. They are so rad and they actually use my pronouns reliably and ugh seriously fuck my dev team so much.
