Oh no. Warmed-up soda is good actually.

I had to drink diet pepsi at lunch because the diet coke was out. I don't usually like diet pepsi much at all but I was thirsty and needed caffiene.

As is my way I drank too many cups and started getting the chills.

As I was heading back to my desk with the last cup, thinking I would get a hot drink to warm back up, I saw the microwave and had a Horrible Idea.

And it was… good? Like, would drink again!

I am no longer chilly, but I am very confused. XD

Aaaaah I just got a new commission for a con badge and aaaaah it's the best.

Other cool/weird things I saw there, not mentioned in the article:

- A Games Workshop store, marked by (of course) a big Space Marine statue to match the big Gundam statue in the Bandai store.

- Another 'arcade' area that was just aisle upon aisle of crane games

- A "spy gadget" store (?!)

- A really good comic shop that we went to semi-regularly for most of our time living in the Bay.

I knew someone who worked at the Bandai store; it was him that store, and the Gundam film at the anime film festival Bandai sponsored (that my friend comped for me) that got me watching the series to begin with.

A LOT of my early good SF memories are twined up in that building, wow.

I didn't actually know the bit about the history of the arcade, it was Portal 1 for as long as I was there, so I assumed the decor was off-brand "Stargate-y" stuff (as was the style in arcades at the time). I wish I'd known it was Mobius stuff, I would've appreciated it more. XD

Sorta a sequel to the one @irisjaycomics shared previously about DisneyQuest.

I remember going to the Metreon a lot when I was first in SF in the mid-2000's, I could already see it starting to go downhill then, but I loved it. I'm honestly pretty sad to see how the story ended.

I mean I think this is a huge proportion of why like I don't get art very often (money aside); it's always this huge gauntlet of "How do I get folks to see me correctly, hnnnngh"

LB: Just played this and it's real good. Made me feel good things in a very difficult-gender-stuff day.

All the 'feminize your voice' stuff makes me nope out super fucking hard for a number of just... very me reasons.

Next best idea, "maybe just sound more 'gay'"... Yeah, don't bother googling that.

I hate my voice so much and I have zero fucking clue how to make it better. >.<

OMG so... I've been misgendering Breel for... years? I am embarrassed but also kinda squeeeing about a whole BUNCH of stuff in retrospect now. :D
