Checking out Radia Senki because it looks pretty neat

some day I'd love to play a group ironman with some OSRS folks

the whole "small group of people that can't trade with anyone outside of the group and has to source everything themselves" just feels really neat

I was going back to try to find my vod from before an "exploit" got patched out where you could desync the mimics

My main goal was to take the mimic from EX mode back through the main levels, grab add's true scepter, and then use that to "legitimately" make it through the trailer levels in EX mode to get the special ending that you normally need to cheat for

I skipped around my VOD a bit, and landed right at the moment where I picked up Add's true scepter and just... holy shit, that tune is so powerful.

I still maintain that it is unfair how powerful and impactful that game is.

I really want to do another curated/guided playthrough of it again from the perspective of "I want to show off as much of the game as possible" and should start putting together a list of everything I'd want to show off if I did...

(also maybe I should grind out the hard mode in the shmup section... hough.)

UFO 50 Bingo league playoffs between Khana and Spooty! Should be an exciting match :D

We've been pretty much told that our entire team is being phased the hell out in favor of offshore folks to save on costs (lol) and it's been happening in waves and I wasn't sure if I wanted to be earlier or later in the yeetings

I kinda wound up right in the middle which wound up probably being the sweet spot, I guess. Just kind of glad not to be stuck trying to keep things running through the last phase of people. This job is hell enough as it is, and as much as it sucks to be losing employment, I'm hoping that I can take a moment and finally catch my breath after months of every interaction with another person leaving me completely dead.

Played through the whole croc remake - I think they did a really nice job with it.

@socks it's definitely one of those things where the game is trying to train you to 1CC it or close to it

I think it's a really neat and meaningful mechanism and a very exciting way to feel committed to the attempt, and it makes the success when you get it all that much sweeter

HOWEVER, I also fully understand it from the perspective of "I just wanna practice this and beat it and not have to risk my save file on every attempt" so I'll never begrudge anyone who doesn't like that aspect of it and I'm definitely not here to be a pretentious asshole about liking the thing lol

I was playing Night Manor for a weekly archipelago async (among a few other UFO 50 games)

I had everything I needed to clear my games, so I dipped into Night Manor to finish off the horror. I had the iron key to get into the basement. I had the gear, the oil, and the piano wire to fix the breaker. I had the full recipe for the fungicide to finish everything.

However, I did not have the crossbow bolt for my crossbow, and the killer was still alive.

I hopped into the basement to fix the breaker, and just when I opened the door to the final room, the killer popped up in front of me and genuinely made me jump, lmao

I am so used to feeling safe by the time I'm in the basement - I actually wonder if pulling open the final door is a noisy event, or if my "time to reappear" on the killer was low because I'd just loaded into the game.

Either way, it's been a while since the killer has made me jump like that. :P
