Oh spark this is better.
My main internet interface has been offline for most of the past week while I've been transferring the hardware into a new support scaffold. I just did a preliminary test fire and I am happy to report that this battle station should be fully operational within the next 72 hours.
Updating: The battlestation is online and operational! All major design constraints have been met, cables have been very satisfyingly managed, layout and ergonomics have been tested and found adequate. Small adjustments still need to be made, but are not related to PROD-level operations.
Remaining: Write up, Cleanup. Beauty shots. MORE GLOW. Storage basket on lower port-side shelf. Implement footrest. add control area cooling, add lightsaber mount.
CW: Fully armed and operational Battlestation
I am so damn proud of all this work. It took longer than i thought it would, and I had to solve more problems than expected.
But the Empress is pleased with my efforts.
(Not pictured: my chair, my joysticks, or any leftover money. But this was worth it!)

@kelseyhusky As someone currently struggling to get their cable management situation in order, this gives me life. Thank you for posting it! What cable wraps did you use?
(also, eeeee your plush)
re: CW: Fully armed and operational Battlestation, Amazon Link
@casta I used neoprene cable wrapping sleeves that also have buckles for linking individual sleeves together. I like these since they're super flexible, and have holes for pushing cables through so you aren't stuck going in one end and out the other. This one has some other models that are longer in length, but the short ones in the 4 pack provided me with the best flexibility in routing and wrapping.
As a tip. i work from the top of my setup down, working one cable at a time and making sure I do a test fire (walk through your whole setup and make sure you have working cables) before collecting them and wrapping them.
