Mother's day with my mother. CW: Maternal violence toward their child
Called mom. Missed the card this year.
I will never forget our past history. She kicked me out. She did try to kill me (once). She was demanding, abusive, controlling.
But I keep calling her. Birthday, Mother's day, anniversary.
Sometimes I wish I could quit her. Not sure what I'd do instead though.
But I also know that I will have a big hole in my tapestry when she's gone, and I want that to be as small as I can get it.
@Soreth having built a few UCS kits, I can tell you that that is likely. Lego is pretty good about including spares of the really small peices.

My shoulder joint has been growing steadily more and more painful over the Lockdown months. I'm worried about repetitive stretch injury.

Ney guy had one day with me yesterday. I get in and find that no one sees him. On my personally curated feed of demographically targeted news, A "celebrity fighting game player" has a profile of their not 1, but 2 new fursuits. Like.. I put Kotaku in my RSS feeds for news about video games, not People Magazine fashion review gossip journalism!
But that made me think about living in the housing stacks while the acid rain beat against my polycarbonate window, waiting for my boyfriend to finish his work out our exercise bike/generator for the batteries so we can heat up some SOYPRO Broccoli Beef pouches, getting high together and dreaming about what we're gonna do after that one big score we just know is right around the corner cause we're young and invincible and rent is next week's problem.
What is this fucking timeline? Why are some parts of it exactly what i want and mixed with everything I wish didn't exist?
