In my last 2 weeks of working for the River Tribe, I was courted by a recruiter for the Building People, who needed a IT Field Engineer. I adjusted my resume twice, had a web meeting with the recruiter, a phone screen, a technical, and an in-person on Friday.

I did make it home before the recruiter contacted me to let me know there was an intent for job offer, pending the return of the office admin on Monday.

So, instead of the month's long job hunt agony, I have a short 2 week break pending paperwork and unemployment.

I have been sobern't all weekend in celebration, but will be taking some time to notice how things were different from my past experiences, and being grateful for the change.

So... Questionable Content is so very aptly named.

The Coming Out of Their Shells album from the Ninja Turtles has 10 tracks. 8 of them are bops at minimum, and 6 of those are just for-real bangers. There's only 2 that don't really activate me, but shit, they're probably gonna work for someone.

There's a lot of really good and fun lyrics. The one track that might give some people issue is "Walk Straight", cause they keep repeating the line "verb straight" but its more about sticking to your own path, ideals, and goals rather than mutating yourself to fit in. It's not about forcing an orientation on kids.

I have a very limited capacity for small talk. I will jump from "Hi/Hello" to "I found something exciting/cool/horny and i'll gonna talk about it for hours" or "You responded to me, you must want to know all of my trauma, let me share" in between sentences.

Has streaming on Steam worked for anyone? Tried it last night and never got more than a blank screen. I'd prefer not to use twitch, and OBS scares me cause its probs way more than I need. Just asking for some pointers, and if I have to Twitch it, sure.
