@shaderphantom this is certainly better than many of the alternatives (which at this point are nothing or an upcoming cloud platform that is inferior in most ways and cannot work due to broadly accepted physical constants and technological limitations)

@shaderphantom lowered barriers to entry tends to result in massive overall increases in userbase. Personally speaking I'm playing a lot of stuff I absolutely would not otherwise. Those devs are getting something out of that, instead of nothing at all
