@body@mastodon.social same situation but I still like them seeing as I am insane

@Nine ive started actually getting my advertised speeds since i got an external wifi antenna and used a USB extension to put it behind the pipes in my cupboard, thus circumventing the thing that was shielding my room from the internet (and avoiding having to use my ageing, unstable powerline adapters)

@envgen blender has had massive interface improvements but if you need help still just DM me and I Can get some resources for you

@envgen i dont know of any premium painting or modelling software because in my experience all of it is abysmal

@envgen blender is still the best free modeller and has much better painting tools than it used to, but if you want a dedicated painting package for 3D there's quixel mixer which recently became free

misc update

@body@mastodon.social I've been on a 3 day AI writing binge

@Nine I have 2 nintendo ones, a BlackBerry one, one I got in 2017 (as a spare for my switch), one I got from poundland and the one I got with my current samsung which I think will be the first to break. I know the second I lend one to a family member it will be instantly obliterated

@Nine I still have every USB C cable I have ever received from any source, they all still work and one was from pound land?

as a non-american, theres a lot of things in The Simpsons which i thought were surreal jokes, but turned out to actually be real and normal in america

cursed politic

@jk @body@mastodon.social arduderino microcontroller

@envgen there are HP ones that are in the 20-30 range where they send you free ink as long as you print very few pages a month. they're bad though, I just got one for the surprisingly good scanner. the printer part stopped rendering any sort of image after a couple dozen pages even though theres still ink in there

just sad gender shit, nothin to see here

@envgen I have the same problem I think

@jk virgin media keeps telling me they want their shitty hub back but they haven't sent me the bag to send it back for 5 months, nor have they fined me the promised £50

PSA: last night one of our pyrex cooking dishes exploded.

not fractured, exploded. “pyrex isn’t supposed to do that” we thought.

as of a few years ago, Pyrex sold their brand, the new company changed glass recipe as a cost cutting measure, resulting in a pandemic of exploding cookware and a class action lawsuit.

thankfully the patent has expired and the keyword to look for in competing glass cookware products is “borosilicate glass”
