it's really cool that you can run the latest version of Godot on a raspberry pi 400
how many people are going to pay like £1 a month to maybe get a game every 6 months to a year
do we think I could make a modest living just releasing a little game every so often, paid for with crowdfunding?
well, I'm probably going to have to flee the UK soon, so I need to upgrade my income from unsustainable to meagre
actually i think cargo cults are more logical than whatever this is. With cargo cults there was cargo once. Fascist narratives have just never been true because they're social technologies for turning exploited people against eachother when they become too much of a threat to established power
i dont know if cargo cults were ever real in the original context but it describes rightoids well. theyre not materially or emotionally benefiting from evil, or even reliably brutalising or terrorising minorities, but they think maybe if they post enough then the man from TV will let them be dirty harry

when people say x media is good "if you just turn your brain off"... don't know what's up with them but if something only works when you don't examine it then it's probably actually crap. You can enjoy media that's bad morally or technically while engaging with it. That's just what media literacy is.
