Viewing my predecessor as a character I played, a mask that I hid behind, a person that never was, has been great for coping with thinking about that time.
It also gives me complicated feelings that I was basically roleplaying for approximately 18 years.
@tastymochafox Oh Great Work that's a familiar feeling. My pre-transition self eventually became a character as part of my personal path. Sympathies. Hopefully the drop into new self and new headspace is more comforting and comfortable than the old.
