Breakfast with @ElectricKeet on a work day starts the day wonderfully, but it also reminds me just how fucked up our many of our ancestors' and contemporaries' idea of value is.

And you think my way of life is weird?"
@mawr I wouldn't care as much if there were still a reason for it, but there's not. There's no reason why we couldn't give away the tools of survival beyond the clutch-bent concept some folks refuse to abandon that being alive isn't reason enough to deserve to live.
