@mawr strained, added to noodles. added some of the stock to a bowl of the two, mixed, then served and coverd it in fresh ground pepper and sambal oelek.

@Sparrow It turned out a little on the salty side, but only because I added extra salt initially... mostly because this started as "Hey, I could cook up some soba noodles to go with some of this meh soup" and then became... well, not ramen, but something between ramen and soup. o.=.o
