depression
Another deep diving mood crash today out of nowhere. I could feel it starting this morning and it's only getting worse as the day goes on. At this rate, I'll be lucky if I manage to acquire dinner for myself tonight, let alone do literally anything else with my evening.
My rescheduled psychiatrist appointment is Monday. With some luck, I'll get some anti-depressants out of it.
@egypturnash Don't forget the part about the city eating people, because it does that a lot.
Las Vegas becomes an insufferably ugly place when you know what they're hiding behind the curtains.
@Jacel It's perfect, honestly
@starkatt Whoa.

@starkatt I didn't realize it either until I looked up the track list and found 5 separate tracks for what I'd assumed was a single song.
It was so subtle in the game that with each added element, I just assumed it had always been there.
I cannot even put words to how amazing I think this composition was. I'm just speechless. It worked so well.
@starkatt In this video, all of the versions of the song are represented, one after the other.
When I was first playing through this dungeon, the music just completely sucked me in. It was at this moment that I realized I was playing a masterpiece, and from there on, I could not put it down. The soundtrack was a large part of that.
@starkatt The whole Bastion sound track is super important to me. ♥️
Also, from the new Zelda Breath of the Wild game, the first Divine Beast Va Ruta's dungeon music took my breath away and filled my eyes with tears. (...granted, I'm very susceptible to emotional responses from music. ^^;)

I set the video to start at the point you pass the first challenge of the dungeon. After completing each of the 5 challenges, the music changes slightly.
@Draekos No worries, hon <♥️

@Draekos (I think you forgot to censor the image on this hon)
@IrisKalmia I'm sorry, too; I wasn't being as charitable or compassionate as I strive to be, and I'm sure that wasn't helping. >..<
@IrisKalmia I feel like I stepped on a land mine by even asking, and I'm sorry I did.
@Soreth *gentle hugs* That's absolutely legitimate, hon. :<
@IrisKalmia Yes, in the same way that you told Kos to stop.
@IrisKalmia I made an inquiry intending to continue a silly thread, you responded with a deeper reason, reveling that this was not "a silly jab."
You're welcome to blame this conversation on my lightheartedly asking a question if that makes you feel better about where it's gone.
@IrisKalmia If it really was just a joke, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
@IrisKalmia It strikes me as cute, and a silly meme. It pokes fun at how silly it is to use words like "fucking" and "shit" as spice in a sentence, and at the same time, how silly it is to consider it immoral to do so.
It doesn't have to mean anything deeper than that. And you KNOW 'Kos doesn't mean anything deeper than that by it.
@IrisKalmia So Kos isn't allowed to use memes born from capitalism that have historical roots in Christian conservatism, even though we live in a capitalist society who's majority population are Christian, a religion who's majority of practices are conservative?
How far down this rabbit hole do we need to go? I'm sure there are a tremendous number of things in our common speech with similar roots.
Dragony plush thing! Friendly, non-binary, anarcho-syndicalist, ace.
