@noiob How easy is it to take apart? I just opened up a launch-model PS3 I got a few months ago, in order to reapply thermal paste (under the GPU lid as well as under the heat sinks) and clean ancient dust. Unscrewing everything is fairly straightforward, there's just...a lot of stuff, so it's pretty tedious. The motherboard itself has a metal enclosure on both sides, and the CPU/GPU/etc. are on the underside, with the heatsink/fan resting between that and the bottom of the case. Not only that, but the heatsink is tightened from the opposite side, so if you're like me and your GPU lid is no longer glued to the board, you have to be really careful and avoid it sliding off before you can flip the board and tighten it up
