micro sd cards are really tiny for the amount of data they can store

it wasn't that long ago that even one gigabyte was unimaginable in that form factor and now you can't get smaller than 8ish gigabytes

@Felthry I think the sweet spot is around 128-200 gigs, which is ridiculous

@noiob we've seen terabyte+ regular sd cards, probably not super long before we see that in microsd cards

@Felthry afaict 2TB ones haven't been released yet but 1TB exists
2TB is also the limit of SDXC

@noiob just looked up that card and holy fuck that's expensive, it's $260 and that's $200 off the regular price

@Felthry oh neat the newest standard, SDUC (Ultra Capacity) goes up to 128TiB
