Whoever decided most android phones should vibrate twice per notification: Why. I hate u
Most android phones have a bad, loud, and annoying vibrate motor... why must you make that horrible experience last twice as long per notification, in such a way that anyone sending you a message every few seconds will cause the phone to be annoying constantly
@masklayer god my G6 had the worst haptics ever, the Pixel is so much nicer, I actually leave feedback for key presses on now
@noiob my new phone (xperia 5 II) feels ok for haptics, but vibrates much louder and more forcefully for notifications and it's really annoying but I think they literally designed it that way on purpose because it has a feature which is on by default which syncs the vibrate motor the bassline in music which sounds horrible but actually works

@bonzoesc @masklayer any linear actuator can be a speaker of you can drive it fast enough, but the Sony one is specifically used for bass

@masklayer didn't think it would be such a huge difference (and the Pixel 4A 5G still doesn't have a nice linear actuator)
