@noiob because coffee doesn't give energy, it blocks tiredness chemicals to be processed in brain. but they are still there and growing in count, so when the coffee effect wears off, they will attack you and give you a tiredness wave

@northern_dude I just drank it. Also I know how caffeine works, I just have atypical responses to stimulants

@noiob same here for coffee from coffee machines, but in the opposite way. When I cook it at home - I'm okay, when I make it on the office coffee machine - I'm like a berserk.

My theory is that companies sell rigged coffee machines to businesses to boost workers production. Damned capitalists *old man yells at clouds*

@northern_dude caffeine content can vary wildly based on extraction technique, grind settings and the kind of roast you're using
