@noiob It surely needs to be able to detect though, if you've just plugged a cable in and it needs to know which type you plugged in.

Seriously? Does the PS2 just default to YPbPr then? Because I never had to set it. What if you are using RGB, like with SCART?

@noiob Shipped with composite here, not sure about elsewhere. I thought composite was a problem in SECAM countries at least.
@noiob tbf VHS is inherently composite and as a result SECAM VHS exists... in fact there are two incompatible SECAM formats.
