it's because i use youtube on mobile and TV so much that i went out of my way to convince my parents to get us all premium, since it's much easier than having to fiddle with an adblocker that's network wide (yes, pihole exists, yes, i've tried it, no, it's not good for my use-cases anyways)

@EeveeEuphoria @gmsh on android and google tv you can get modified apps with ad blockers

@noiob @gmsh yeah but they're all either shady as hell, shut down, or made by cryptobros

...sometimes all 3, like that one app i can't remember the name of

@noiob my bank app literally only works on android because any other bank i sign up for tells me "lol you don't have a consistent income, get bent asshole"

@EeveeEuphoria I mean your bank app shouldn't contain your bank details

@EeveeEuphoria and unless you're rooted apps can't affect each other

@noiob tell me why all the reports about any malware on android ever talk about how bank details get stolen
