Great, I've run out of healing items in Silent Hill and now I'm basically out of luck because it just stops giving me any and I can't backtrack. And I don't wanna restart now, I've come way too far
I just wish there was a cheat to give me more healing items… maybe I can edit my memory card file?
Oh right, the PSP has some kind of checksum and will just automatically delete any 'corrupt' memory card files

@noiob on a psx you can modify memory with that serial port in back - but I think on psp you're sol :(

@noiob wait a sec. its not like its signed. You can just rechecksum the file after changes...?
Looks like its per game and not in the system at all.
The same work in learning the format youd need to do to edit the savegame would let you bypass the check
