So, I've managed to decipher the strange placement of the switch settings, and to make it easier in the future.
If you imagine a line going from the top of the switch itself, going across to the silkscreen option, that's what the switch is set to.
So, if all the switches are up, then it's set to: RR-NET Mode, No EPROM, 128 mode, IO1.
If anyone has this, it might be handy to remember.
Okay, so CF cards are on the way out, and being replaced with SD cards. An Amiga CF card being corrupted is pretty much the last straw for me. SD cards seem to function better with WinUAE.
Also, a Lemon Sorbet (not ice-cream) feels a lot cooler in hot weather. Just saying. :P
Okay, I think seeing as SD cards are more common than the older CF cards, I will try to run my A1200 off one of them, with the CF adapter, just for compatability.
I have AROS, a free replacement for AmigaOS running in WinUAE! The downside is that it's a bit slow and ick.
