To anyone thinking about joining BlueSky, especially artists: everything you post is sent to a third party for AI labeling.

BlueSky uses AI to label content for moderation, and to do that they use a company called thehive.ai. If you look through their privacy policy, you will see that they can use content sent to them to train models for all their services, which include generative AI for both text and images.

@noiob, could you bring a bit of actual privacy? The last one I tried was a corporate lie... :p

@Azure OwO I'm not the only one being reset to en-US every time I yay

@nliz I may be suspect to say anything on the matter by being one of the early adopters of the thing, but I prefer the quick gestures that resembles the animation it triggers over the virtual buttons.

@Tathar you've got my morbid curiosity at 2:20 AM. Why can't you sleep and why the "especially for therians"?

@noiob filled and sent. Is something else needed?

@noiob could this instance federate with floofy.tech? I want to follow @kakious@floofy.tech and @arch@floofy.tech over there

@Azure because some people were indoctrinated to believe people are worth as a living being the number that's written in their paycheck. As there's a wage gap between white and blue collar workers, white collar workers usually behave like an ideological reserve in protection of capitalism, which also blinds them from seeing themselves as workers who depend on an income to continue existing.

However that's hard while "unionizing", "worker class", etc. are taken as bad words.
