Okay..the PCG-505E, the laptop that I recently bought, seems to have 64mb of memory built in. The two slots at the bottom? Just for additional memory, that has to be two PCBs on top of the mainboard.

I finally have replaced a noisy hard drive in an old Pentium MMX laptop with a CF card, to make it quiet. That other drive was sounding rattly and loud.

A quick check on the AGPL, from my understanding, shows that they, sadly can do this, but they have to document changes to the code.

They do list it in the copyright notice, but if no-one reads it, how are they supposed to know?
