Question for trans folks:
When you replay memories of people referring to you or interacting with you pre-transition, do you mentally edit in them using your current correct pronouns?
I do this.

@starkatt It just seems odd to me! We don't really do that, I don't know if we're capable of doing that.
@starkatt Depends on how those memories are being contextualized.
If someone's talking about me in the past, I might depending on how easily I can do the edits, or explain the transition in context because it might depend on the time of my life and how aware I was of my own trans nature.
If someone's explicitly talking about Elbey, that fucker's a _guy_, he/him pronouns, and his favorite article of clothing's a codpiece.
