One of the reasons I advocate for socialist reform over revolution (currently, anyway) is that power vacuums of revolution make it really, really easy for the most authoritarian person or party in the room to seize control.

@starkatt I absolutely agree; I'm just doubtful that the system can actually _reform_ to the degree it needs to change without falling into "revolution" regardless. I don't actually _want_ a revolution. I just don't see us abandoning capitalism, instituting UBI, passing universal health insurance, funding public transit, renegotiating and enforcing native treaties, paying reparations, abandoning fossil fuels, and legalizing entheogens without one.
