Hey @AmyDentata you wrote an essay (in the late 2000s?) about how we don't yet have meaningful concepts of genre for videogames but I'm having trouble finding it? It was really influential to me.
@bb@cybre.space I feel like there's a lot here to think about that I'll need some time (and more processing alertness) to actually appreciate. There's a bunch of different arguments being made and they're all pretty interesting.
Small UI decisions can shape not just individual user experience, but also the culture of an entire online space.
