So I got around to watching San Junipero

and

I'M GAY.

It's really nice when I ask for book recommendations and among the suggestions are two of my favorite series and a third book that I really enjoyed. Makes me believe more in the other stuff suggested alongside :)

@Eve@witches.town best metaphor I've heard for body dysphoria compares it to seeing one of those broken bones that leaves a limb crooked and just /wrong/. That deep, instinctive sense that it's just not how a body ought to look.

Apparently yr electrician gf didn't notice that it wasn't plugged in.

The cord was not actually long enough to reach any plugs at the appliance's placed location.

I think a good test of media savviness is "can you detect a piece's bullshit even when it's bullshit you agree with?"
