@Soreth hm, maybe I should actually ditch the sonar. Range isn't much better than just the headlights and it burns power too.

@Soreth I swapped out perimeter defense for hardened hull. The former just wasn't seeing a lot of use since in practice it only helped for a few seconds and the slow charge made it easier to run away most of the time anyway.

@Soreth good news is both me and my sea shuttle can take a couple of good hits.

@Soreth me last session: "okay I'm sure I've heard that noise before and I _think_ it's a predator but I don't see anything so it's probably fine."

Narrator: things were not fine.

Most games: "okay for players to find the next objective we better give 'em waypoints or a map or directions or something"

Subnautica: "eh just put a couple of entrances to the next zone in some deep places. Players will find 'em eventually."

I kind of love it actually. Makes me feel like the game trusts me.

Also it's definitely prawn suit time. We need to go deeper! I've been putting off building it since I don't love the idea of travelling on foot.
