i dont know where i first heard it, but i really like the term social interaction networks rather than social media. take back the language. we're aren't media and relationship building isn't marketing.

the characters have been given zero physical characteristics or even names and I already have a perfect mental image of each of them, so that's pretty cool.

Anyway I just picked up Annihilation and like a page in and I am 100% on board with how this is written.

Maybe I should make another stab at writing that essay I've been trying to write for coming up on three years now.

If you asked me to write out in words the meaning I was trying to convey with :thaenkin:​ in that last post it would take me several minutes and a whole lot of consideration. Yet, it was clear that the emoji expressed precisely the thing I was trying to convey.
