There was a Mac game (I think it was a Mac game) I played once at a computer store as a child. It felt like I played it for hours. You controlled a pair of aliens children who went on surreal, tangenting adventures and they constantly said the word DOODLEZEPH!

Does anybody know what the hell that thing was?

Oh so because a lot of people missed that I was talking about an extant game in that post: I'm taking about We Know the Devil. It's really really good and you should play it.

A visual novel about three teenagers at a christian summer camp, stuck in a cabin overnight and waiting for one of them to inevitably turn into the literal Devil:

Now that's

Ugh I should really need to work on being better at remembering to lock toots that I don't want boosted.

Looking back on my emotional states, yeah, being on progesterone was *definitely* a contributing factor to the behavior that blew things up for me a couple weeks ago. It's certainly not the only factor, but it was part of things.

That particular experiment ended up being a lot more expensive than I anticipated :(

Me a month ago: "I'm really good at communication!"

Me right now: "hahah, oh fuck, there's so many things I do conversationally that Don't Help. I think I can learn alternatives though..."

Wish I hadn't passed that intervening time learning things the hard way, though.

I kind of want to register dissociation.party but I have no idea what I'd actually do with it.

Hey so I know you think that vibrator you have is big and powerful, but have you considered getting filled by: awoo.space/media/XnoUnotn93QUx

I really do love how the most interesting parts of the narrative are only told vaguely or are in subtext. It feels... really right, for the subject matter within the story's framing.

Ahhhhhh decided to replay We Know the Devil and it is just so, so hecking good.

Mandatory media for queer girls, imo.

What I find interesting is how unconsciously I do it. When I type I'm thinking about the intended communication more than the orthography, so sometimes I'll look back on a passage and be surprised to see underscores there, when it my head it just sounded like emphasis.

Show thread

Heh. Apparently now I use all three of bracketing asterisks, underscores, and slashes to mark emphasis now.

Ugh. That OP earlier today got a lot of boosts, and now I'm actually kind of regretting posting it.
