Folks I know have spotted at least four different designs in the last few weeks. Some of them are really sneaky.

Be on the lookout, folks. A lot of stickers have been showing up around seattle that have rainbow flags but are advocating far-right/white nationalist politics or have iconography of nazi groups.

I almost want to quit this playthrough (I'm maybe 65% of the way done) because it's so stressful, but also I want to see this through.

The "wanting to cry" bit is only just barely hyperbole. I need something to lift my mood now.

I think I've passed the difficulty point where I can win matches at all.

Me, a while ago: I think this game would actually be better if it were harder.

Me now, on True Nightwing mode, getting absolutely destroyed and wanting to cry: oh so that's why they set the difficulty where they did.

One thing that makes analysis/criticism of games really interesting and complicated is that the literal text can be different for different people or on different playthroughs.

Makes "what kind of play was the developer trying to encourage?" an important question.

Has anyone written about the tension between "I want to roleplay this videogame a certain way " and "I want to see as much of the game content as possible and thus will try to get to any optional content I can"?

You know what I think would actually be really, really cool?

Imagine if through the entire game, there's a button you could press to leave the Nightwings and thus get to a new endgame screen. Would make it a choice to remain their Reader, not something you have to go along with.

I still think it's really, really cool that to get the best ending you need to either actively act against your own self-interest, or *lose* the very last match.
