Elite Dangerous is a very pretty game

One thing that really doesn't come across in screenshots is the scale of these nebulae. They're not clouds I'm zipping around or through, they're static background objects tens of light-years across. If I want to move relative to the nebula, I need to jump to another star system.
I'm definitely into low-violence games right now, really.

Hmm. The games I've gotten a lot out of in the last few months -- Astroneer, Stardew Valley, The Long Dark, Elite Dangerous -- are all rather slowly paced. I wonder if there's something to that?
