Realized this morning that I'd been *completely* misreading "Knowledge".
The phrase "the 99 percent" isn't being used in the Occupy sense. That's a misdirection. The song isn't about affluence, it's about being hated for choosing to be something outside of what society deems acceptable.
Weather update: pausing for gas in Chehalis. It's snowing pretty good but the roads are merely wet, not snowpacked or icy :)
Update: winter storm warning for this afternoon through tomorrow morning, and I'm planning on being back in Seattle tonight and at work the next day.

Also this Honda Fit is a whole lot less stable on slippery roads than my old Jeep XJ was.

Sadly I didn't get a screengrab, but I found a wild planet the other day.
Metallic world orbiting _really_ close to a B-class star. 22 earth masses and 5.2G surface gravity.
...also a silicate-iron atmosphere at 17 million atm pressure, and a surface temperature of just under 10,000K.
...it wasn't visibly rendered as such, but that's a massive boiling ball of slag.
it's 59f inside my house right now.
