I've got a recruiter attempting to headhunt me. It's just an email, so it could just be someone emailing through their list of cold contacts, but still.

My wife starts her new job (making more than me, which is nice) in two weeks. I want to become a stay-at-home dad due to my anxiety/depression.

My new depression medication isn't working very well AND it's greatly decreased my libido and I'm Not Happy About All That ™

And hey, now that my wife has a job lined up, it won't matter if my job fires me for being incompetent af 🙃

Not that I have any idea what to do in Anor Londo.

And I made it through Sen's Fortress and into Anor Londo this week, this week has been blessed.

She's been doing a coding boot camp and hasn't even finished her program and her instructors have been telling her she's one of the most exceptional students they've ever had come through their program and she's already gotten a job offer and I'm so proud of her she is amazing and the best.

My wife just got a job offer and there is a light at the end of the tunnel where we might get out of debt and own a home and save for my kids' college and let me quit my miserable job and be a stay-at-home dad someday and I'm crying and happy things might actually be going right for once.

I am deeply saddened and disgusted by the US right now. It's awful, it's all just awful and it infuriates me, as a Christian (Mormon), that nearly 100% of the GOP's base claim to be Christians. Their entire platform, literally everything they do in government is antithetical to everything Christ taught. I don't blame anyone who hates Christians because of their hypocrisy, it's repugnant and I am furious and devastated by it, especially now. Ugh. UGH UGH UGH.

Hm, does anyone have a starter kit for how to make Second Life function like game with... not terrible controls?
