thinking about it more, it seems to just be a label people call others when they are judging them for having different priorities
i mean, if you prioritize something, but don't do it, that's called executive dysfunction and that's a Different Thing entirely

i did get some slippers a day early, which i'm grateful for though!
i'm even happy that happened a day early because it means i can write off the entire day that followed without including that bit

gosh, that was a really emotionally draining birthday, and i feel horrible
the highlight of my day was literally when a video game noticed it was my birthday and did something kinda neat--because that was the first thing that happened that wasn't oppressive, uncomfortable, or outright cruel

write in a language that sparks joy. don't want to figure out a clever algorithm? don't. your program is eating ram like a motherfucker but it gets the job done? that's okay
you don't understand recursion? don't use recursion. you don't understand how to manually allocate memory? don't use a language that makes you do that
there's time to learn all of that. or don't! people have worked hard to make it so you don't have to!
