as if the response to me asking a question about How To Japanese on a language server made explicitly for people learning How To Japanese would be met with confusion that i don't already know How To Japanese
even in a language learning community, i still feel like such a doofus asking questions sometimes, ahah
i spent entirely too long making a public japanese lesson on renshuu for this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2fS5uvudaQ
(here's the lesson just in case anyone is interested! https://www.renshuu.org/lesson/c/4369250/vocab/)
(seriously though, so much japanese stuff that i'm starting to understand is adorable!)

@codl oh! one thing i forgot to mention about ballpoint!
it has pretty much perfect accuracy in the long range mode, so feathering that also means you are in a really good position to pick off anyone who enters your area of influence, even at the very edge of your range!
it's actually pretty usable! and with dosidle, it doesn't take up 100% cpu
though if you do anything graphical, like run windows, or render things to the screen in qbasic, you need to switch to vnc
it would be so cool it you could use sixel with qemu so it would all work without! (i wonder how hard it would be to compile the sdl backend to work with the package?)
fun motivation fact: if you mentally prepare to phone 5 places, you can, in fact, get 5 answering machines and need something entirely too elaborate to dump all of those ideas
I have a coworker at Unity who's been wiping the floor with all of us with his compact, efficient #adventofcode solutions. What makes it especially galling is that he's doing it all on a 16 MHz 386SX, using Borland Turbo C++ 3.0. Even his write-up looks like a Wayback Machine snapshot of an early-90s Geocities homepage: http://clb.confined.space/aoc2022/
Go, be impressed!
