Alright, decided I'm going to try switching over to my dragon.style account for the foreseeable future: @acorn

Reading at article on a blog that displays a live, always-visible progress bar of how much of the article you’ve read and watching it tick up as I scroll is giving me a strange amount of anxiety.

One-day colds are annoying, by the time it's wearing off in the evening you're starting to wonder if you just imagined the whole thing.

Me, a Fool: “Sure, I’ll allow notifications for this app I just installed, I’m sure they’ll be responsible and only use them when necessary.”

Why aren't there more moth furries, they're always cute as heck.

Apparently “space archaeologist” is an actual profession and now I’m upset that this was never presented as a legitimate career option in school.

Definitely just spent well over three hours trying to put together a dark-mode userscript for a site, only to discover the site already had a dark mode in settings.

Whoops.

Apparently the Safari developer tools think Hustle Cat (the cat cafe TF visual novel) is another installed web browser.

I am VERY confused.

@MnemonicLight There's this guy (youtube.com/channel/UCg3qsVzHe) who makes knives out off odd materials (chocolate, pasta, ice, a plate, etc.) and I just found he'd posted a bunch more since the last time I checked.

It's oddly relaxing, somehow?

Extremely normal videos to watch when it’s past midnight and you’re waiting for the melatonin to kick in.

@SomeEgrets Honestly, same. It was good at the time, but so many instances have popped up since then, several of which sound good.

It'd also be nice to be on a (small, registration-controlled) instance where I actually felt enough a sense of community to look at the local timeline.

I made bread today! Finally got this onion rye recipe figured out.

Turns out it helps when recipes don't have typos in cooking times.

Fun new insomnia habits: Watching bread-shaping videos at 2 AM.

Are there any Mastodon clients that support hiding *all* images, not just CW’d ones? This seems like a pretty obvious feature for mobile use, yet I haven’t seen any client so far that does it.

When you’re goth but your boss told you to wear something more office-appropriate:

I think I shall attempt bread this weekend. 🔜🍞

Cyberpunk 2077

@MnemonicLight It's weird, because "replacement parts make you less human" seems like it's been an increasingly outdated idea for a while.

It feels more like something out of the 60s/70s when folks were freaking out about the first artificial organ replacements and such.

I had to test a new printer yesterday. Luckily, I had the perfect test image.
