game thing i always liked the idea of but have never really seen done: several online games of different genres that act upon the same ingame world, so the things players do in one game can influence the experience of the other one in some meaningful way

@typhlosion there was a rpg game that had separate roles for DMs/level designers and "regular" players, but that's as far as I've heard of

@typhlosion i think eve had some sort of fps that tied in with battles in the greater eve verse but it never really went amywhere

@typhlosion I remember there was a Ludum Dare entry a few years ago where there were two games, one a sliding block puzzle and one a platformer, and they interacted in interesting ways.

@typhlosion oh, i love the sound of this. what aspects of the game world might be malleable?

@typhlosion im tryin to think of something myself but my mind keeps coming back to something like minecraft with strict job specialization
