omg i just had a cool idea for new music player software
i've seen stuff made in godot that seems more like tools than games, so... what if... music player, that moreso resembles a physical player?
eh? eh??? seems cool i think! i'd allow for customizability such as what media format, maybe find some trickery to make it sound like what it is (i.e. filters to make it sound wobbly like a cassette, or introduce noise filters, or straight-up re-encode it for minidisc, other fun stuff)

This is a *fascinating* concept for games studies - "quotes" of a game that don't just show you a clip of gameplay, but actually let you take control and try it out. It trims the ROM down to only what's needed to run the quote, so this might even pass a fair dealing/fair use test in court if it came down to it - just like quoting a passage of text, or a clip of a movie.

hey amd folks, what's the difference between the b650 and x760 chipsets, other than a $60 price differential on the motherboard? i'm wondering if there's any reason one would be worth it over the other
@pup_hime those expose more ports on the back. i dont want ports on the back i want them on the front where i can access them easily

a couple of pc build questions:
- ddr5 ram: is there a meaningful difference between 6000 and 6400 MHz
- is overclocking still a thing that gives practical and noticeable improvements in performance these days or are the added power draw and build stipulations not worth it anymore
- when did case manufacturers decide that wanting more than two usb ports on the case front panel was a trap laid by satan and was never to be entertained
(emerging from the pcpartpicker trenches covered in blood and machine oil) i just want two usb 3 headers on my fucking motherboard. thats all i want
