Burned my paw while cooking dindins, but gave me the opportunity to try out a household tip, namely to smear the burn with honey & let it sit until it stops burning. It's supposed to make the burning stop sooner & help prevent blisters.

Now I'd say, first of use proper honey & second use only for minor burns where the skin isn't broken. First time I try it myself, but since it seems to have worked I thought I'd share, in any case it doesn't hurt to keep in mind to try out for yourselves.

I've been talking with a couple kind people who helped me understand some of the racial issues which I unintentionally poked at. Everyone acted with good intentions, but things got bad and that's my fault. I'm sorry.

I spent over 2 years moderating large servers on Discord, stopped recently. Haven't been on public servers since, but joined one to have a look and you know what...? It's really difficult to be so used to moderating, because when you see an obvious troll, your troll senses start tingling immediately, but without the ability to act, it actually becomes stressful to just watch...

Might just have to skip public servers for the foreseeable future, I'll give it another chance though.

@maxinered@queer.party Another issue is that they're addictive. It's too easy to fall into the mindset that you're always right, yet never realise that you're doing it yourself. You start jumping on people due to personal outrage rather than think critically first and then if you are challenged, rather than pause and make sure you're right you automatically double down.
