Zombies

Yes hello it's me I still want to see a zombie show that's about a society where we've effectively recovered from the apocalypse but there is still no cure and the show demonstrates what has to change about societal infrastructure to accommodate all death since dying effectively becomes a disease that can spread

Anyway I want to be something like ER or Gray's Anatomy

Zombies

@vahnj I want in general post-apoc media that isn't about wastelands and guns and violence. I want to see what kind of societies emerge after all existing social structures have collapsed.

Zombies

@starkatt @vahnj "Feed" is a good one for that--it's post-post apocalypse, the new reality of zombies, about kids growing up in that world. it's damn good, but there's some bits that are basically a sucker-punch directly to the heart.

Zombies

@vahnj @starkatt also the book "World War Z" is a collection of memoirs from survivors of the original apocalypse, goes into a lot of depth about how people survived, how they coped, what it did to politics, social structure, economies... told from the point of view of ten years later, when things have stabilized into the new reality and all that's left is basically cleaning up. there's a *lot* of cleanup to do, but still. unreservedly recommended.

Zombies

@green @starkatt I've read WWZ, it's about the postapoc rather than postpostapoc lol

Is good though
