@Mycroft @vahnj I'm along with this ride. Having the genetics of a hybrid PC play into rules I think should be reserved for half-dragons, aasimar, tieflings etc; nearly everything else is phenotypic.

And it seems reasonable to me most humanoids would be at least *slightly* mixed. (JRRT suggests that - even though he says elves and humans have had kids *once*, the leader of the Swan Knights obviously has elf ancestry somewhere).

Thinking along the lines of how I already have bloodline magic ideas I'm imagining that most bloodlines overpower human bloodlines so that's why shared ancestry is rare, with the exception of elves whose close association with nature accept and embrace natural change as a part of the world

I like half elves a lot but I think I'll get rid of half orcs
