@cassolotl@cybre.space I don't think the protocol supports it natively but if you treat it like any other Mastodon message but deliver it with Metadata that tells you what the poll being updated is you likely will be able to use the existing communications layer
So, difficult, but not undoable imo. Probably the solution would be considered hacky in any case

@cassolotl@cybre.space that's a project in distributed systems at that point. Likely what happens is the poll has a callback to the main instance and creates a subscription to poll results similar to a mastodon user feed that produces aggregated results. Or something like that
