ok real talk why doesn't the compile rake task preserve compiled files that haven't changed or is there something about how stuff hooks together that makes it not able to detect whether or not it can do that

cuz this is just unreasonably slow

@spiderrobotpig this will get you a distinct list of follows from local users. this won't be everyone who follows you though, which i can give you a query for that if you like
